IIoT

Also called Industrial Internet of Things and sometimes written as Industrial IoT.

It is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. These interconnected sensors and devices are networked together with computers’ industrial applications, allowing for data collection, exchange, and analysis, potentially facilitating improvements in productivity and efficiency as well as other economic benefits. These devices are integral in many industrial applications in the Industry 4.0 revolution, especially for manufacturing and energy management.
